Kapetanios Aqua Resort

Kapetanios aqua resort in Paphos is a great place for families. The view from all over the hotel is stunning! The kids loved the pools and the waterpark. They had fan at the pools for children. The staff was very kind and friendly. Especially great thanks to Georgina and her tean at pool bar. Also food and sweets were too delicious. A great experience to rest and relax before winter!

Were do I start got there at 01.20 and bloke at hotel very rude put us in a room that haven't been cleaned and mother was in a bed fit for a child. In morning changed our room to another disgrace finally got to see our rep when they was saying her day of.... When they moved us again bloke that run it said would I put a good review on said yes but no sorry we paided a lot of money to come away food was a disgrace cold and not cooked right.. so couldn't eat there. So all-inclusive but had to eat out cost us more money...and only 7 of us at hotel.. no beach all stone. Entertainment was ok staff very rude felt like been dumped there and left to defend for our self... Estella was only one that cared... Don't book hear it a not so nice hotel we booked a 5 star this was a 3 star.... Reheated food as the amount they put out you could tell it was other day food.. beach bar food was frozen especially hot dogs roll hot and sausage was frozen... I would class this holiday as holiday from hell.... Pool don't get cleaned every day as when he of no one does it.. fly's around food so don't read what it says as it ain't true... Never again would I come to Cyprus as it's put me off staying hear ... Go else were as water slide broke down all time lazy river rings kept going down. No bloody beach all stones the only good think was weather... Will be reporting this hotel to stop people going thinking it's going to be great... Well it bloody ain't it's a HOLIDAY FROM HELL

Positive’s : - The rooms have been done up really nicely, very comfy bed - Hotel very clean - staff are very friendly - Always got a sunbed, however we did go on the 31st August - Location, location is great (after you’ve walked up the hill) The bars at the top of the town are worth a visit. I would 100% recommend a visit to Coral Bay beach, €7.50 for 2 sun beds and umbrella for the day. Absolutely beautiful and the sea is lovely! You can get the bus, however it is about a 15/20 minute walk. Negative’s : - Pools! While there about 6 people ended up with ear infections, 1 being within my party. They ended up having to go to hospital 5X to be put on a drip. All pools, really need to be looked into regarding cleaning! - The food, some dishes were tasty, however they need to cover it to keep it hot and away from flys. At most it was lukewarm. Also very small selection, got very repetitive. - Drinks, great selection and cocktails however, I’m not sure what alcohol they use but it never seemed to get you even tipsy ….? - They really need to improve the Beach, it’s unusable. To even try to get into the sea as there are big rocks as your trying to enter. I know the manager said how they are looking to do this and to add sun loungers down there would be a huge improvement!! - Lack of entertainment, no one wants to play water polo or bingo EVERYDAY! The programme really needs some investment. Overall it was an OK hotel however not worth the money we paid. Definitely more a 3* then 4 ! Improvement is needed on the points made.

The poor maintenance of the water slides at this hotel resulted in my son spending an evening in the hospital and needing 15 stitches. After the incident, the general manager tried to claim it was a freak accident. I insisted he inspect the pool area with me, and we found two screws sticking out of the drainage grate directly under the water slide. His response was dismissive, suggesting it could have been something floating in the pool. Despite saying they would fix it, I watched as they reopened the slide the next day for unsuspecting visitors. When I addressed this negligence as we left that afternoon (after the slides had ben open all day), he assured me, “Don’t worry about it; we’ll get our engineers on it, and if there’s anything wrong, they will fix it. Everything will be fine!” Meanwhile, my son is on crutches, in severe pain, and will start university this week unable to participate in the activities he was looking forward to. Our family holiday was ultimately ruined, and we’re deeply disappointed with how the situation was handled by the hotel. On a positive note, this was an easyJet package holiday, and their staff were very helpful in making my son’s trip home as comfortable as possible—thank you, easyJet! I do hope easyJet follow through on their assurances that they will conduct a full inspection of this hotel to ensure the safety of future customers before putting the safety of anyone else's family at risk. Advice: Despite the efforts of some wonderful and dedicated (albeit overworked!) staff, I recommend giving this hotel a miss for the safety of your family. I’ve attached pictures of the slides and the grate with the screws sticking out. I have a video that shows me finding the safety hazard and pointing it out to the general manager and the head of maintenance, but I do not have permission to upload a video on this review.

Only here for 1 night due to our flight home being cancelled at short notice but everything was great.The staff were brilliant booking in about 150 people late at night.They looked after everyone until it was time for us to depart. Good rooms and the food was excellent.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Our flight was cancelled so Jet2 “kindly” put us up in this hotel for a night. The food was disgusting. I wasn’t going to write a review but the general managers behaviour and attitude was appalling so I feel it’s deserved. Our shower flooded the whole bathroom as it wouldn’t point into the bath, so just leaked everywhere. When we arrived there was only one person on check in so it took hours to check us all in. Yes 150 of us checked in late but they would have had warning so I don’t understand why they didn’t have more staff on the desk to speed up the process. The general manager needs to change his attitude as the way he was speaking to guests was vile. He deliberately kept the evening buffet closed until we were leaving as he didn’t want us to eat, even though we had all inclusive bands… he only opened as guests complained and made a big fuss of it. Jet2 reps didn’t care and said nothing even though people were complaining to them. I asked him why he isn’t opening it as people might want to grab some fruit of something to bring on the bus to the airport with them, and he grunted at me and walked off. Not very professional. Also I found it every strange that very young people were working late at night carrying our bags to our room. They had no uniform on and just looked like guests?! It was very odd. The positives The slides and pool were good. The view was nice overlooking the sea

Just got back from our summer holiday at the Kapetanios and I must say myself and my wife loved every minute of our stay. We stayed in room 1713 which was very comfortable and modern and had a lovely view of the sea to wake up to every morning. The pool area was very relaxing and with the added bonus of its own water park (the lazy river is great to nod off on 😴). The food was lovely and we found the staff all very friendly. A special thank you to Mr Costas, Estelle and Tony the porter who were brilliant. We travelled with Jet2 and Vanessa the rep was great, thank you. I would definitely go back in the future 😉

An all round great holiday for all family members. The room was excellent, poolside and cleaned well each day. The facilities were well maintained and the staff, especially Demitris (of Limosol and Liverpool) was a useful go-to for local information. Would definitely recommend to any family

This hotel is one of the best hôtels i have been to so far don't listen to the Bad reviews makes no sanse thé good was alright,staff very friendly and polite. Intertainment lad Always there from thé morning till late night bless him i don't even know if hé gots a day off We played darts, we done water polo Seen him everyday trying to get people involved . I would take my family to this hotel again .
